22.03.2010Die Veröffentlichung des Tools “Microsoft Document Connection” in 2009 hat mich als begeisterten SharePoint-Nutzer gefreut. So konnte ich endlich den Komfort von SharePoint nutzen, ohne jedes Mal auf eine Windows-Maschine wechseln zu müssen.
Seit 3 Monaten arbeiten wir nun produktiv auf den SharePoint Online Services. Es ist toll, sich nicht mehr um die Administration kümmern zu müssen.
Ein Wehmuhtstropfen:
Das Tool “Microsoft Document Connection” wird derzeit von den SharePoint Online Services nicht unterstützt. Schade für uns Mac-User!

Concerning your service request 091128-000028, regarding the Document Connection for Mac, I wanted to inform you that unfortunately, the Connection tool is unsupported within SharePoint Online. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes for your company. The tool requires some permissions to be set at the SharePoint server level in order to access SharePoint Online. We cannot make changes to servers due to the shared server environment that our service is hosted on, due to server changes affecting multiple companies. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.”
